ASPHALT FIXING CHEMBOLT™

CHEMFIX ASPHALT fixing system for use with chemical anchoring.
A metal anchor bolt with an internal thread which is designed for removable fixings in asphalt, combined with a chemical anchor resin for high durability and ease of fixing.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• M12 or M10 internally threaded socket.
• Steel: 11SMnPb30+C
• Designed for use in Asphalt or Tarmac.
• Proven durability.
• Imparts no stress to the surrounding area (unlike expansion anchors).
• Ideal for speed bumps, signs, and other temporary fixings in ashpalt.
• Economical, fast and easy to use.
• Works with chemical anchoring.
• Sockets with internal thread for removable bolt.

THESE FIXINGS WHEN USED WITH CHEMICAL ANCHOR RESIN ARE CAPABLE OF AROUND 1kN TO 1.8kN TENSION LOADS - THIS IS DEPENDENT ON THE QUALITY AND DEPTH OF TARMAC AND THESE ARE VERY CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATES. HIGHER LOADS ARE POSSIBLE BUT ON SITE TESTS ARE RECOMMENDED. AS A RESULT WE DO NOT PUBLISH LOAD DATA.

THESE FIXINGS ARE SUPERIOR TO EXPANSION ANCHORS IN TARMAC AS THEY DO NOT IMPART STRESS ON THE FIXING AREA EITHER DURING INSTALLATION OR THROUGHOUT ITS LIFE.
