Dustless Drilling Added to Three ETA's

The dustless drilling method is now added to the following ETA's 18/10525 which covers the Chemfix CH200, Vinylester ECO/EASF Top and Chemfix 100 pure epoxy - 18/0797, 18/0800 & 19/0705 respectively.

The increasingly prevalent "Dustless Drilling" method is a way to drill and clean a fixing hole simultaneously. A vaccum adaptor is fitted to a special type of (SDS Plus or SDS Max) HOLLOW DRILL BIT which is extracting the dust directly from the hole and being sucked away by a powerful vacuum machine.

Dustless drilling : 

• Saves time (up to 50% faster per anchor).
• Eliminates 90% of airborne Silica.
• Cleaner holes bring performance benefits to the chemical anchor.

A traditional drill-blow-brush-blow method requires six steps and a time investment of more than three minutes per anchor.

Dustless bits when connected to a vacuum can eliminates hole cleaning steps from the standard anchoring process and reduces the start-to-finish install time by up to 50%.
