Timbabuild wood filler in a cartridge was created in 1998 by Nickerson Chemicals after demand for a heavy duty wood repair product designed specifically for a large scale renovation and repair project by Leeds City Council. The project saved thousands of pounds by repairing old rotten timber windows, doors and other timber structures, in situ, rather than replacing with new units.
Timbabuild today is therefore targeted at the specific professional user market such as local councils, renovation specialists and professional window companies. The ERC rapid formula is also particularly suited to "same-day" "on the spot" repairs undertaken by sash window repair companies.
Timbabuild has the benefit of a strong EPOXY formula making it strong and durable, and the EHB high build product is lightweight and mouldable making it ideal for vertical and overhead repairs, as well as building up the resin in layers for use in large voids. The adhesive qualities of these products make them ideal for Timber Splicing, and Conservation Joints.

Timbabuild at Greenbuild
May 2010 saw the second running of Greenbuild Expo at the Manchester Central Arena. The attendees were a mix of the public and private sector, with local authorities, housing associations, architects, contractors, planners, engineers and consultants all represented at the event. A massive 95% stated that Greenbuild Expo 2010 met their needs, whether that was solutions for current projects, research for future projects, information sourcing at seminars or networking with like-minded professionals. Visitor feedback has been excellent with many requests for more information on the topics covered at the show.
The Timbabuild stand was busy for the whole two-days with enquiries ranging from end users to local authorities and educational authorities interested to learn more about the "repair dont replace" philosophy.
Timbaseal on Display
To help promote E.H.B.4 four hour curing thixotropic resin, we have designed and created a useful counter top display, which holds an E.H.B.4 or E.R.C. 400ml cartridge, EWS Epoxy Wood Stabiliser, 310ml Timbaseal glazing sealant, and an extrusion tool. The strong hardwearing cardboard printed display is assembled very quickly, and comes with full instructions. This is for the exclusive use of our distributors and partners to help promote the value for money alternative to replacing decayed wooden constructions.
Also included in the display is an A4 flyer holder. All of the displays are provided with sufficient Timbabuild® flyers which promote our "repair dont replace" philosophy. Also on the reverse can be found information on the 3 R's - Remove, Resin, Repaint - the three steps to creating a permanent and invisible repair. The counter tops displays are available now .
