New Laboratory at Dewsbury Unveiled This week saw the inauguration of the new state of the art laboratory facility at our Dewsbury plant. The new dedicated facility is over 4 times the size of the previous area and leaves enough room for more new equipment and testing machinery than has ever been utilized at Dewsbury in the past. Some of the more interesting additions in machinery are a Computerized Tensile Testing Unit and a High frequency data logger The data logger allows the accurate measurement and recording of the forces/factors associated with the pull out of chemical anchor systems. The seven strong technical team is headed by Mike Dempsey, who commented “This is a real revolution for Chemfix. To extend and strengthen the Technical Department with this resource shows a keen commitment not only to increased materials testing during manufacture, but also to a commitment towards further research and development in chemical anchoring, wood fillers and adhesives.” |
